Dear Friends of the
Golden Apple,
Our season closed on another glorious
night of music with two of the winners of the Falcon Ridge Folk Festival’s
Emerging Artists awards, singer/songwriter Abi
Tappia, and the Boston
neo-trad fiddle band,
Blue Moose and the Unbuttoned Zippers.
You can catch them both at the Festival this July.
We will be opening
again in the Fall for another great season of acoustic
music.
Our infamous Wall
to Wall 60’s and 70’s,
usually held in May, will be in the Fall this year, and will tilt more towards
folk music of that era.
We hope you have a
wonderful summer, and thank you for your support in keeping alive one of the
best acoustic venues in Westchester!
Happy
swimming,
The Golden Apple
Coffeehouse gang
OH, AND ONE LAST THING…
On Sunday, May 24th, from 4:30
to 6:30 p.m., the Coffeehouse is hosting a special session, Stories in
Song, at the upcoming national storytelling festival in Mt. Kisco, at the
SUNFLOWER STORYARTS FESTIVAL.
Please join us for two hours of sheer fun and delight, as tale after
musical tale is told. We’ll be at O’Malleys, two
blocks from the Coffeehouse, at 30 East Main, right off Moger. Cover charge is only $5 / $15 families,
plus a one drink minimum--can be a soft drink, and they serve food, so you can
have dinner, and watch a great show!
